Free Guided Tours of Salmon Farms

Come and enjoy some time on the beautiful Bay of Fundy as you discover how Atlantic salmon are farmed – from “egg to plate.” The Atlantic Canada Fish Farmers Association (ACFFA) invites you to come aboard the Island Quest Marine cruise ship on Saturday, June 9, 2012 for a two-hour tour of our world-class salmon farms. Find out everything you ever wanted to know about Atlantic salmon farming from our industry experts while you are surrounded by the wildlife of our majestic Bay of Fundy. You’ll also get the chance to sample some of our fresh and delicious Atlantic salmon.Boat tours will leave the main wharf in St. Andrews at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, weather permitting. Selections will range from lobster to halibut, scallops and crab to oysters and mussels. Kingsbrae Arms offers an ever-changing set menu each evening of several courses.
